Description

ID Badge engraved to Frederick D. Phillips of Company C, 112th New York Volunteer Infantry. Badge also has engraved at the bottom of the shield the 10th Corps symbol. Outstanding condition with the original clasp on the reverse. Badge measures approx. 2.5 x 1.75 inches.

Phillips enlisted on 7/23/1862 at Villenovia, NY as a Private.

He mustered into "C" Co. NY 112th Infantry on 8/14/1862 and
mustered out of military service on 6/13/1865 at Raleigh, NC.
