Description

A 1/6 plate ambrotype of Ledyard Eastman of the 187th New York Infantry. Plate is lightly inscribe with soldier's name on the back of the image. Soldier served from September 1864 thru July 1865. He is depicted here in a pre-war militia uniform, possibly with the 74th New York State Militia. Case is leather/wood and solid.
