Letter written to the wife of Private Samuel Mills. Nice letter that talks about Generals Palmer and Stoneman reviewing the regiment on parade. Also addresses the south's relationship with England. Mills tells his wife that he sent an Ellsworth song sheet home and that he and Jacob Hipwell do most of the cooking for their company of 74 men.
