Surgeon & His Nurse
G. L. Wright & Mary Jones
These two CDVs were found together with a group of soldiers from Battery F, 1st Ohio Light Artillery.
Backmark on Mary Jones' CDV is Nashville, TN and is identified in period ink. In a congressional pension report it states that Mary Jones was a nurse and matron in a hospital in New Orleans and that she served from 1862 until 1865.
No backmark on the Surgeon's CDV and identified in period pencil.
