Description

1857 Rules of the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of New Hampshire. Book is embossed with gold lettering: "AARON F. STEVENS. RULES 1857." Book was published in Concord, NH, 1857.

Rule book measures, 6 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches and contains 80 pages with solid binding.

Aaron F. Stevens served in both the 1st and 13th New Hampshire Infantry. He commanded the 13th Regiment as its Colonel and received a brevet promotion to Brigadier General. During his service he was twice wounded in action (Cold Harbor and Fort Harrison).
