Ten (10) days (more than the stipulated time) having elapsed since I was placed under arrest by Major E. P. Gould, Commanding Regiment, under instructions from Headquarters, 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, 9th Army Corps. I most respectfully request that a copy of the charges preferred against me be immediately furnished me or else, that I be released from said arrest.
