Pursuant to General Orders No. 20, the practice of using fence rails for firewood must hereafter be discontinued by this Regiment. A small portion of dry wood will be furnished to the Regiment when practicable. This Order applies to pickets on outpost duty, as well as to troops in camp. Commandants of companies will see that this order is duly published and faithfully executed and also that the men are supplied with axes and that they are put in good order.
