Special Order instructing 2nd Lieutenant A. H. Russell to remain at Camp Randall, Madison, Wisconsin to collect stragglers of his regiment and conduct them to the field.

Document is signed by Major Ira Smith Brown, who served as a 2nd Lieutenant with the 1st United States SharpShooters and then was commissioned into the 126th New York Infantry.
