Captain,
In compliance with orders from Brigade Headquarters of the 5th inst., I have the honor to respectfully submit the following report of my Regiment for the month of February 1864.
Miles marched during the month
Two hundred and thirty-six (236) miles
Services required and rendered during the month.
Eighty-seven (87) men on picket and twenty-five (25) men on camp guard daily, during the month, two scouts made: one to Manassas Gap on the 17th ult., marching 60 miles in 23 hours; one to near Charlottesville, occupying from the 27th ult., to the 3rd inst., being engaged in rapid marching, most of the time and traveling a distance of 176 miles.
