To ascertain certainly the number of horses and mules captured during the recent operations of this Division in the enemy’s country. Inspections will be had in the Brigades at the following hours today: 1st Brigade at 1 p.m. and 2nd Brigade at 3 p.m.. At these inspections, all horses and mules captured from the enemy will be led into line. The proper officers of the Inspectors and Provost Marshal’s Department will be present to take lists of such captured property. That it may be accounted for by the Division Quarter Master. Captured horses in possession of officers desiring to purchase them will be reported in their possession. To purchase such horses, application will be made to these Headquarters.
