I have the honor to request you to direct that the Regimental and other acting Assistant Commissaries of Subsistence of the different regiments and other separate commands of your division turn into the Brigade Commissaries from whom they draw subsistence stores, all empty Barrels and Boxes not required for use. That they may be accounted for as required in paragraph 1223 Revised Regulations for the Army 1861.
