Dear Brother,
 
I now my pen in hand to write you a few lines to let you know that I am well and hope these few lines will find you the same.  I want you should write to me.  I thought I would send you a few cotton seeds and palmetto seeds also.  I wrote the other day Thomas Bond.  I have written three letters to you and have not received any answer yet.  Seen has just come into dinner and sends his best respects to you.  I do not know of anything news just at present.  I will close hoping to hear from you soon.
