General,

I have the honor to report that in obedience I mustered the 1st Regiment U.S. Chasseurs Colonel Cochrane and have duly forwarded the rolls.

I found the armies and public property in excellent condition. The men need caps and pants as their present ones are in a dilapidated condition. I am pleased to report that camp, books, and hospital were in efficient, well regulated condition.
