Mr. A. B. Bullard
Kind Sir,
I have put in a vote for the union and trust you will put it in to the ballot box for me or see that it is put in before the poll closes. If the Board of Elections challenges my vote or any bother, you get the Elder Edwin McMillan and Abe McKay and C. Foster. They all know me and know whether I am a voter or not. I have voted there and shall vote there again. If I live to get back, you know where I live over near what is called Brown’s Steam Mill. I live just over the line in town of Little Valley. I don’t think there will be any trouble about it. Please do this favor for me and I will oblige you very much.
Please write to me whether you resolved it or not so that I know whether it has gone through safe or not. I will give you my address as soon as we get where we are ordered. We are under marching orders now. Shall start tomorrow. Don’t know where. I will write to you again soon.
Yours truly,
Frederick Metsker
